This week’s assignment from the League: Top 10 Movies

top 10 movies list

The League has had a week off to regenerated those creative power cells, which is good because this week’s topic is sure to put a strain on all of us. Summer is upon us and you know what that means–it’s time for those Hollywood blockbusters we wait for all year.

This week’s League topic:

—-

What are your Top Ten Movies?

—-

league of extraordinary bloggers logo Note, this list can be your top ten all time favorites, or your top ten in a given genre–go ahead and make up your own qualifiers! Google loves top ten lists, so make sure to use those words in your title and watch your traffic soar!

Once you put up a post on your site add a comment below with the URL. Next Monday, I will put up a post here on Cool & Collected with a list of all the contributing blogs. Once that list is posted, if you haven’t already done so, try to incorporate at least three of your fellow League members’ links (but more would be great!) into the article you wrote on your site.

By cross-posting like this, we will help each other out by sending new readers to each other’s sites. Have fun!

(Wondering what the heck this is all about? We’re recruiting for this loose-knit, rag tag crew! Here are the details for joining The League.)

  1. Oh, Brian, you magnificent, terrible bastard.

    • ;) It looks so easy, but when you put pencil to paper… hooboy.

      • That’s what I’m saying. I really like this topic and I want to do it, but when I think about it, my mind starts racing in a thousand different directions.

Plus, how do I slice and dice this? I don’t think I want to straight up do a Pax’s Top Ten movies of all time. Or even a top 10 super hero movies of all time. I want to really come up with some fun subset….

Wait a minute. I think I have an id—-yeah, I got an idea. *nods head maniacally*

  2. This is a good one Brian! I have a post or two to put up before this(yard sale finds #13 is tonight, btw), but count me in. Man, it’s gonna be tough, cuz I’m sure all of us involved love a lot of movies.

  3. Oh, man. I may just have to close my eyes and start typing. The more I think about it, I’ll agonize over it.
