That is awesome. I love all the info and images.
My dad loved the serials, and we got him the CA one for Chrsitmas many years ago. Dick Purcell played Cap with no shield or wings on the costume. Still alot of fun though.
Reb Brown played CA in the 2 tv movies, CAPTAIN AMERICA and CAPTAIN AMERICA 2: DEATH TOO SOON against Christopher Lee. I had them on vhs too, and actually watched them when they first aired.
The 1990′s CAPTAIN AMERICA is usually trashed by critics, but I loved it too. Matt Salinger did a good job as the lead, and Albert Pyun directed it.
I got caught up in watching Captain America 2 last week when it aired on Syfy. I’m hoping the new one in theaters now is a little bit better.
