It’s times like these that I really wish I lived on the West coast. The town of Astoria, Oregon, where the cult classic, The Goonies, was filmed, is hosting a huge event to celebrate the movie’s 25th anniversary. I can’t tell you the number of times I watched the Goonies as a kid. I actually just saw it again on cable and it is still great. The Never Say Die event (remember, that’s the Goonies’ motto) is going on now, so if you’re in the area, go see the sites and the stars from the film.
