Morphy’s Toy & Pop Culture Auction wraps up tomorrow, but there’s still time to place your bids! I just did another quick survey of the current prices and there are still some great bargains, but things are sure to heat up as the auctions start to close. Here are a few of the items that I’m watching…
Like I said, there are plenty of bargains, and the A-Team items in the auction have been overlooked so far. This A-Team Rough Riders Great Escape Stunt Set has some of the best-looking box art of all the A-Team merchandise.
The Six Million Dollar man’s Enemy — Maskatron! My collection is much too lacking when it comes to the Bionic Man. This would be a great addition to the shelf.
One of my biggest collecting regrets was passing up on a chance to buy a set of these Universal Monsters Soaky bottles. These are quite possibly the perfect depiction of the fab four, in my book.
Aurora model kits are always great, and this Gigantic Frankenstein built-up kit is fantastic!
This James Bond Thunderball Special Agent Rifle is probably my favorite item in the auction. I’ve always loved the Thunderball art depicting Sean Connery in the jetpack, and this box would be the highlight of any 007 collection.
My Raydeen still needs a partner, and this Shogun Warrior Gaiking would certainly fit the bill!
The art on this Outer Limits board game needs to be framed and put on the wall!
I’ve had my eye on one of these tin Lone Ranger target games for years, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Maybe tomorrow will be the day!
This last item may not be a toy you can put on the shelf, but it sure would make for a great display — plus you could never need to buy another costume for Halloween! This 100% accurate Star Wars Stormtrooper suit is screaming out to me! must. resist. temptation.
This is just a tiny fraction of the incredible pop culture toys up for bid at Morphy’s this weekend. You can check out the full catalog online — and good luck bidding!

Awesome stuff! I really like that board game. Milton Bradley made so many far out games.
Did you end up pulling the trigger on the Lone Ranger game? My Dad actually owns one and I know he has been wanting to cull his collection down lately. I can’t guarantee he will want to part with it, but I will ask him if he’d be willing to sell it to you.

Nope, I still haven’t added one of those target games to my collection yet. Someday! 🙂
