Rumor has it that Hasbro will be reviving the Micronauts. Microman originally appeared in 1974, manufactured by the Japanese company, Takara. In 1976, the toy line hit American shores and was renamed the Micronauts. The line consisted of 3.75 inch tall figures that had interchangeable parts. Following the success of one of Takara’s other creations, The Transformers, it looks like we’ll be seeing a whole bunch of new toys on the shelves soon.
There is also talk about a Micronauts movie by J.J. Abrams, of Lost and Star Trek fame.
