31 days of King Kong–what could be better? I had a lot of fun with this daily blog challenge, though it was more challenging than I would have thought. If I do another Countdown to Halloween, I will have to plan better, and not just grab something off the shelf and photograph it every morning.
Believe it or not, there are a few King Kong items from my collection that did not make it into the Countdown, including the 1976 movie poster, but I accomplished what I set out to do, which was to showcase the wide range of treatments King Kong has received through the years at the hands of artists and toy manufacturers. I hope you enjoyed October as much as I did, and if you want to see detailed images for the items above, just click here to view all of KONGTOBER’s entries.

November=MIGHTY JOE YOUNG month…make it happen!
That would make for a very short month.
Next year is Clyde-o-ween featuring Clyde the orangutan. Right, Brian? It’s gonna be EPIC!
Pax
hmmm. I kinda like that idea. Left turn Clyde!
Nice job on Kongtober! I really enjoy seeing other people’s collections.
Me too! So when can we see closeups of that Super Powers collection???
EPIC. Kongtober rocked my socks off.
Thanks man! Unfortunately King Kong socks are one item I don’t have in the collection, otherwise I’d offer them up to you.
Your collection looks especially impressive when its shown all together in a collage like that. I enjoyed Kongtober and seeing your stuff. Great job with these posts!
Thanks Jaime!
Well done, sir! That was amazing!
Thanks Reis! I may not have commented much but I hit up your costume countdown every morning.
I know I didn’t comment too much but I enjoyed the Kongtober a lot. So I wanted to make a last Kongtober entry: http://traveling-pics.livejournal.com/516697.html
