A Collection a Day #10 – Vintage Western Paperbacks, originally uploaded by Cool and Collected.
The best thing about collecting old Western paperbacks is that you can still occasionally find them in used book stores. While most of the vintage sci-fi books have become scarce, westerns have not been totally picked over. If I see a book from the 40′s or 50′s, I will usually take it home with me. A lot of these books tend to be in pretty rough shape, but I just can’t resist the great cover artwork.
I have collected so many different things that I thought it would be fun to try and photograph a collection a day and see how far I can get.
